Faro Technology Track

FARO’s laser scanning technologies deliver quick and precise point cloud data for 3D Documentation. 3D images of complex environments and geometries can be generated in mere minutes and can be used for various industries such as Architecture-Engineering-Construction (AEC), BIM, Forestry, Heritage Preservation, Shipping, Mining/Tunnels, Reverse Engineering, Forensics, and even Movie and Gaming. Learning more about these technologies and their applications will empower the user with knowledge of the endless possibilities of having such new powerful tools in their work arsenal.

This technology track will provide an overview of the latest technologies available from FARO as well complete solutions available for various industries including for those in the spatial fields. Solutions will include application solutions from GEXCEL software and kubit.

During the Course of this Session:

• Mr. Ryan would provide an overview what is 3D Documentation and how Reality is documented with FARO’s technologies. He will also introduce FARO’s latest 3D documentation product – the handheld FARO Scanner Freestyle3D and provide the latest updates to FARO SCENE and FARO Webshare cloud.
• Ms. Giorgia will share GEXCEL’s solution for the 3D monitoring industry via the use of the 4D Inspector software and utilizing FARO’s terrestrial laser scanner.
• Mr. Jackson and Mr. Afif will share their experiences in using complete solutions in FARO Terrestrial Laser Scanning Technology for various applications. Success stories include the following fields:
